Black and White work

drum play at the irish pub
This is a sketch 'Irish drum player' I did at the Michigan Irish Pub in Conklin Michigan.
The Irish band on Wed. nites is worth the drive to hear.  No cover charge,
and I always bring my sketchbook.  The trick is to draw away while the band
plays.  So it is a bit of a art school throw back, got to draw the action, while it
happens.  Which is sort of the fun of it.  NO pencil under-drawing to work with,
just pen and paper.  (oh, and not touched up either, can you tell?!)
