Hello Scribblers!
This month's theme is: "It's Black and White". How appropriate, as our Michigan world is about to be covered in a quilt of white snow! For me, this is the perfect time to get out the snowshoes and see the world in "black and white", a time when the trees stand out their starkest.
Get out your india ink or pull out your sketches, grab a mug of hot chocolate and watch the world transform into darks and lights. The deadline for posting art: Feb. 28th.
Word of note: Scribblers now has a link on the KidsBookLink.org home page under, WHAT'S NEW!
Next month: We will have a new challenge akin to one outlined in the Nov./Dec. SCBWI Bulletin from Anne Sibley O'Brien's, Think First article.
Any suggestions, comments or questions please contact me.
Happy Scribbling,
Lori Taylor

There’s No Place Like Home
Hi, all of you Scribblers, Doodlers and Drawers!
With the holidays almost behind us we have a new topic for January.

There’s No Place Like Home!
Ah, Dorothy, such wise words, especially after the holiday rush.
January, the month the light begins to return, is a time to rest and relax and what better place to do that than at home. Whether in an easy chair, feather-lined nest, log, barn or bear den--home is where the heart is for all of nature.
